- Viewer is a quality, easy to assemble Do-It-Yourself kit containing all the parts needed to create a beautiful heirloom quality antique-style stereoscope to be used with stereocards (stereo views) and today you can make your own.
- With the redesigned Fold-Away Handle this new viewer is reminiscent of the higher quality vintage stereoscopes of the 19th century, and becomes a thing of beauty and utility either in your hand or at rest on the table top
- The new Improved Holmes Style Stereoscope kit is made of high quality fine grained hardwoods, smoothly finished and hand pre-fitted for easy, exact fitting assembly. The genuine leather hood, adds a touch of elegance over the vinyl hood of previous viewer kits, and the hood is large enough to accommodate people with eyeglasses comfortably, and effortlessly.
- All parts are pre-cut, pre-drilled, and pre-sanded for easy always-exact-fit assembly. All necessary brass hardware is included along with simple, easy to follow assembly instructions. The only tools needed for assembly are a #1 Phillips screwdriver, a small hammer. Viewer is so easy to assemble, it can be lightly sanded (if more is desired), stained, oiled, or waxed and assembled in less than 1 hour.
